President- Cheri Herschman

Cheri Herschman is an Area Senior Vice President at Gallagher and is responsible for the overall management of the Client Consulting Plan. Her role includes coordinating business need evaluation and assisting in developing a strategic plan based on business needs in the benefits arena.  Cheri also coordinates other resources available within Gallagher to help meet client needs. Before coming to Gallagher, Cheri spent 20 years of her career with various consulting houses and has handled all complexities of benefits specific to public entities (counties, municipalities, towns, k-12, and other similar type organizations).

Cheri holds two master's degrees, most recently receiving an MBA from R.H, Smith School of Business in December 2017.  Her prior master's degree was in Policy Science—Statistics & Analytics from UMBC in Baltimore.  Personally, Cheri has a husband, Aaron that is a retired veteran and retired PG County firefighter as well as twin daughters, Abby, and Alexandra.  Abby is continuing her studies in mechanical engineering as a Ph.D. Fellow at Columbia University.  Alexandra currently works in Baltimore City Public Schools as a School Counselor and mentor.
